Live from DKS: No. 4 Clemson Baseball faces off against Gardner-Webb

Top of the 1st:

After a walk from true-freshman P Talan Bell and a missed double-play by Clemson's infielders, the Tigers get their three outs to take out the Runnin' Bulldogs' offense and get them off the field quietly.

Bottom of the 1st:

Quick outting for the Tigers on offense to end the first.

- Dominic Listi with a pop-fly out

- Jarren Purify grounds out to shortstop

- Cannarella gets on 1B with a HBP

- Luke Gaffney strikes out swinging

Top of the 2nd:

Clemson with a rough start to the game fielding-wise, letting Gardner-Webb's first baseman Nick Capozzi reach first on an error.

They kept the rest of the inning clean, allowing just one hit following the initial error.

Clemson DH Collin Priest gets them going on offense, hitting a single straight through the middle of the infield.

Bats go cold in the following at-bats with only Tristan Bissetta getting on base via walk.

RHP Joe Allen comes into relieve for Talan Bell

Gardner-Webb batter grounds the ball into a double play for Clemson.

Pop-fly out ends the defensive effort for The Tigers in the 3rd.

Bottom of the 3rd:

Tigers get on the board with a ground-out RBI coming from MLB prospect Cam Cannarella, scoring Dominic Listi following his advance to third on a passed ball.

New Pitcher comes in for the Runnin' Bulldogs and is immediately taken advantage of as Collin Priest singles the ball up the middle, scoring Jarren Purify.

Top of the 4th:

Clemson stays hot, pitching a quick 1-2-3 outting.

Bottom of the 4th:

The Tigers try to get something going offensively with a pair of walks from Listi and Paino but it just isn't enough.

Top of the 5th:

Clemson P Joe Allen throws his first walk of the night and only seventh of the year.

Follows it up with a wild pitch to get the initial runner on second. Pitches a ground-out sac bunt, Gardner-Webb player is in scoring position at 3B.

RHP Nathan Dvorsky comes into pitch for Allen.

Dvorsky walks his first batter, same player then steals 2B.

Clemson gets a pop-fly out to make it two outs; still a runner on 2B and 3B.

Gardner-Webb's Ryan Kennell gets the Runnin Bulldogs' on the board with a single to right field, scoring OF Lawson Knight

Drew Titsworth is now into pitch for Nathan Dvorsky.

Gardner-Webb ties it up off of a base-hit; Ryan Kennell caught stealing, end of inning.
