Clemson conquered Hurricane season and Miami 59-69 for the 8th time in a row, here’s how it went down.
Packed Stadium encourages red hot start
Littlejohn Coliseum became a rave tonight with the highest attendance numbers of the season so far, Alumni for alumni week, students and media swarmed the place with not an empty seat in sight.
Clemson came out of the gates red hot going on an 8-0 run and creating three turnovers capitalizing on all three.

Welling went 4-6 from the field and contributed ten points in the first half of the game with six defensive rebounds.
He not only played well on the ball however providing multiple screen plays for the Tigers and passed into the paint linking up with Nick Davidson efficiently.
He ended the night on 18 points.
Turnovers a HUGE factor
Clemson fixed a crucial problem this game, they limited the turnovers we have seen time and time again to only eleven on the day.
On the other side of the ball Miami gave up 14 turnovers and Clemson capitalized for 14 points
Team Cohesion Rating… A+

This team was in a flow state today, from Jestin Porter being a deep ball threat to Carter Welling moving the ball quickly to Ace Buckner being a constant presence in the corner the whole team performed as one.
It showed too because players that would typically play most of the game were being sat for a little longer because you were able to rely on a player off the bench to check in for a chunk to give a player some rest.
After the game Carter Welling said, “Having a lot of dudes makes us hard to scout against, whenever a team thinks they have us we’ll switch to a different dude on the roster.”
Credit where its due
Shelton Henderson tallied 22 points for himself on the night and drove into the paint against the Clemson defense every opportunity he got, often either drawing a foul or moving out of the paint creating a three pointer for himself.
Erenest Udeh Jr. also contributed 16 rebounds on the night for Miami.
Next up is a battle against the Wolfpack of NC State at Littlejohn Coliseum.
