Clemson football, and defensive coordinator Tom Allen, continues to do impressive work in the transfer portal.
Following six commits in the past 72 hours, the Tigers added yet another playmaker in now former Oklahoma defensive tackle Markus Strong. Strong makes the move from the SEC to the ACC, choosing the former home of Sooners head coach and former Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables.
For a defense that was decimated by NFL and portal departures, it is another big get for Clemson football.
Strong played in 11 games for Oklahoma during the 2025 season, logging seven tackles and two for loss. He also added a safety against South Carolina.
