Clemson Early Signing day begins today December 3rd, and concludes on Friday, December 5th. Here is all the players we know so far.
Connor Salmin 6’1 195lb WR/ S, Bullis School, Maryland – Connor “Salminator” Salmin is a 6’1 wide receiver 4 star commit from Maryland who has plenty of juice in the tank. He’s really quick and has some nice deep ball tracking traits that this younger receiving team could capitalize off of. He also has some reps playing at safety. He’s a hell of an athlete. His style reminds me of Danny Amendola and Hunter Renfrow.
Fun Fact: Part of 4×200 relay team alongside Olympian Quincy Wilson that posted the nation’s second-best all-time mark in March 2025
Shavar Young Jr 6’0 185lb CB/WR, Webb School of Knoxville, Tennessee – Stalwart is the word that fits Shavar Young Jr best. Being a 6’0 Point Guard, Corner, Wide receiver and occasional running back makes him stand out from the rest. “Dynamic competitor” as Swinney would say is the perfect way to put it. Young ran 144 times for 1087 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final season to go with 52 catches for 751 yards and seven touchdowns. On defense, he made 51 tackles and forced two fumbles.
Fun Fact: First Clemson Commit of the entire class.
Leo Delaney 6’6 290lb OL, Providence Day School, North Carolina – Delaney is a brawny, well-proportioned offensive lineman with proven versatility, having taken meaningful reps at both guard and tackle. At 6’6” and 290 pounds, he pairs functional strength with a nuanced understanding of leverage, consistently taking smart angles and using calculated steps that elevate his technique. He earned MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors in 2023 while helping guide Providence Day to a third straight state championship. His junior year ended early and a senior-year injury sidelined him, but his résumé and on-field traits still reflect a polished, high-IQ blocker with upside.
Fun Fact: Black belt in karate which makes his hand placement while blocking more precise.
Tayveon Wilson 6’3 205lb TE, Huntington HS, West Virginia – Speaking of freak athletes up comes Tayveon Wilson. Five, yes FIVE sports this kid has played ranging from baseball to track and field. In high school they basically had him play every receiving position on the offense because he was just simply that versatile on the offensive side of the ball. He has a nice build to him as well at 6’3 205lb. He posted 2,150 yards of total offense as a senior, including 1,400 passing yards and 750 rushing yards, threw for 17 touchdowns and rushed for 10 more in addition to collecting 30 tackles, two interceptions and a pick-six at safety.
Fun Fact: This marks Dabbo Swinney’s first ever West Virginia Signee in his managerial career and Clemson’s first signee from West Virginia since signing quarterback Don Wiggins out of Point Pleasant in 1967
Carter Scruggs 6’5 280lb OL, Loudoun County HS, Virginia – Scruggs comes in at 6’5”, 280 pounds and plays the position with a calm, controlled style. He’s not as naturally fluid or loose in his movements as a guy like Delaney, but he makes up for it with how well he generates force. When he gets his hands set and starts driving, he can put real pressure on a linebacker and hold his own in the trenches. Scruggs is the type of lineman who wins with discipline, leverage, and steady power rather than flash.
Fun Fact: Had a 3.95 GPA…. You always got to love to see a smart Lineman on your roster.
Brayden Reilly 6’3 200lb LB, St. Xavier HS, Ohio – The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati is rated the No. 28 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite rankings. He put up 74 tackles, four tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions in his junior year.
Fun Fact: follows in the lineage of Clemson’s recent run of prospects from Cincinnati’s St. Xavier High School, joining four-year letterman Matt Bockhorst (2017-21) and 2025 signee Tucker Kattus.
Polo Anderson 6’2 190lb S, Dorman HS, South Carolina – Anderson from Anderson, right up the road from Clemson, adds that family aspect to the pack. Swinney said it better than I could: “You can’t put him in a box and say this is what he is.” He first emerged on the scene as a larger safety but spent more and more time in the box as a senior. He’s ranked as a consensus top-150 player in the nation, a two-time all-state and three-time all-region pick, and is credited with 265 career tackles, 25.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, five forced fumbles, five pass breakups, and four interceptions. He also blocked four career kicks and scored three career touchdowns.
Fun Fact: He’s a Mr Football Finalist
Chancellor Barclay 6’4 285lb IOL, The First Academy, Florida – Works primarily at right guard, gives very reliable run protection, and uses steady footwork and strength to get a defender to the ground. He’s ranked by ESPN as the nation’s No. 264 overall recruit, including No. 39 in Florida and No. 11 among guards. He’s about as textbook as you can get when it comes to pass protection. He’s a finder — he goes and finds a guy even if it’s not originally his.
Fun Fact: Qualified for state in the shot put with a personal-best 13.36 meters in his first season of competition
Kam Cody 6’2 285lb DT, Benedictine Military School, Georgia – Kam “Mount Kam” Cody entered the early signing period having tallied 248 career tackles, 37.0 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. This dude can even play on the outside — his head stays low, and so does his pad level. He brings a genuinely punishing level of physicality to the table for the Tigers. He’s someone who can for sure benefit from the Tom Allen scheme.
Fun Fact: “I most definitely think we are national championship contenders this year.” is not only a quote you love to see, but the energy we love to see out of a new recruit as well.
Gordon Sellars 6’2 180lb WR, Providence Day School, North Carolina – Another very good speed wide receiver for the Tigers to work with. His expertise lies in more vertically threatening positions, and he’s more of an underneath option as opposed to a jump-ball winner. A blue-chip in heart and effort, he’ll bring real competition to the wide receiver room. He served as a team captain as a senior while producing 59 receptions for 917 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2025, helping guide Providence Day to a perfect 13-0 record and the third state title of his career.
Fun Fact: Teammate to OL Leo Delaney
Naeem Boroughs 5’11 175lb WR, The Bolles School, Florida – A 4-star receiver who’s able to go from first gear to second gear quickly. Very shifty as well. He has good speed, not lightning, but definitely good speed. He reminds me a lot of Darius Slayton at Auburn just by the way he moves. He’s impressively able to accelerate late and track a ball in the air very well, which is extremely useful for deep routes. I see him being used in a more shallow role, but putting him on a deep route can absolutely turn a play to gold.
He entered the early signing period with 163 career receptions for 3,614 yards (22.2 avg.) with 49 receiving touchdowns, also credited with 649 yards on kickoff returns, 301 yards on punt returns and 17 interception return yards for a career all-purpose yardage total of 4,590
Fun Fact: He’s from the same school as QB Mac Jones, hopefully he can bring the same heat to the college game as Jones did.
Adam Guthrie 6’7 285lb OT, Miami Trace, Ohio – Versatile tackle who’s fairly athletic and has the potential to move to guard. He earned first-team All-Frontier Athletic Conference and all-district honors for 2025. He anchored an offensive line that powered Miami Trace to 3,723 rushing yards, 48 rushing touchdowns, and a 10-2 record as a senior in 2025.
Fun Fact: became Clemson’s fifth Ohio signee along the offensive line in the span of nine recruiting cycles.
Brock Bradley 5’11 185lb QB, Spain Park HS, Alabama – A bona fide pocket passer from Birmingham, Alabama. Plays at a really high level in Alabama and isn’t afraid to compete with the rest of the QB squad. He went 174-of-255 for 2,930 yards and 32 touchdowns as a senior in 2025, guiding his team to a 9-3 record and a second-round playoff appearance.
Fun Fact: As an Eight Grader, Bradley had 2 D1 college offers, one from UAB and one from Troy
Grant Wise 6’3 320lb IOL, Pace HS, Florida – “He’s a wrestling champion, he’s a weightlifting champion… I don’t know if we’ve ever signed a better guy than Grant Wise,” Swinney said. Tons of power that he throws around, and he still holds solid lateral quickness. He could slide right into the starting rotation off the bat. He’s worth a look at center given his intelligence and his ability to engage multiple targets at one time.
Listed as the No. 238 overall prospect by 247Sports, which ranked him as the nation’s No. 14 interior offensive lineman and No. 34 prospect in Florida, ranked No. 265 overall, No. 35 in Florida and No. 23 among interior linemen by Rivals, rated by ESPN as the nation’s 12th-best guard, the 46th-best player in Florida and the No. 291 player in the class overall
Fun Fact: Wise has a 535 squat…
Braden Wilmes 6’8 280lb OT, Lawrence Free State HS, Kansas – Wilmes is a Sunflower State standout who was a multi-time all-state selection. He played more than 2,000 career snaps as a three-year starter at left tackle. He was named all-state across all size classifications by the KFCA for 2025, and was also named that season to the KSHSAA 6A all-state team and to the organization’s Top 33 team. He was a two-time all-state honoree by Sports in Kansas and was named to the 2025 All-Simone Team, which honors top players in Kansas and Missouri in the greater Kansas City metro area.
Fun Fact: His mom Kiersten Wilmes went to Clemson!
JR Hardrick 6’6 231 EDGE, South Pittsburgh HS, Tennessee – All the good traits are there. He might not be a hurried piece in the lineup right away, but he’s a great project with the potential to explode. He can play standup linebacker or edge-rusher. He earned all-region and all-state honors in Tennessee in each of his final three prep seasons and entered the early signing period having led South Pittsburg to a 13-1 record and its third-straight TSSAA Class 1A state title game berth as a senior in 2025. He was credited to that point in his senior season with 60 tackles (9.0 for loss) and 6.0 sacks.
Fun Fact: Hardrick uses his length to beat guys on both sides of the ball, playing tight end as well, especially when it comes to shedding blocks in the trenches. His size and celerity immediately make him a problem, he’ll just need to put on a bit more weight and perfect his technique to become dominant in finesse and power rushing.
Marcell Gipson 5’11 170lb CB, South Oak Cliff HS, Texas – Very instinctive in coverage. There are going to be guys with longer arms, but he’s still a baller with a prodigious natural ability to play the position well. He was a three-time first-team all-district selection over his final three seasons, a key contributor to South Oak Cliff squads that won 13 games in both 2023 and 2024 and entered the early signing period at 12-1 in 2025.
Fun Fact: His Uncle, Tashaun Gipson is a Pro Bowler who has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers.
Tait Reynolds 6’2 220lb QB, Queen Creek HS, Arizona – This boy can run. He takes more hits than you’d like to see, which will improve over time. He isn’t afraid to show poise in the pocket so he can find his man. As a baseball player, he’s used to throwing a good amount of fastballs and will have to learn different arm angles and different speeds. It’s going to be fun to see what he shows these next few years.
He led his team to a seven-win improvement as a junior in 2024, completing 156-of-252 passes (61.9 percent) for 2,238 yards with 22 touchdowns and only five interceptions as Queen Creek went 10-3 and earned a berth in the 6A semifinals. He also rushed 137 times for 1,426 yards (10.4 avg.) and 19 touchdowns that year en route to being named by the Arizona Cardinals as the state’s player of the year.
Fun Fact: He was supposed to play baseball and was actually committed to Arizona State, weeks later he chose to go for Clemson Football
Jackson Reach 6’2 220lb LS, Mira Costa HS, California – Ranked as the nation’s No. 2 long snapper by Rubio Long Snapping. He was a three-time first-team all-area and two-time All-CIF long snapper who also factored in as a productive starting linebacker in addition to his long-snapping duties. He was a three-time All-Bay League selection at linebacker and was credited with 301 career tackles, 22.0 tackles for loss, 18.0 sacks, 17 pass breakups, and eight forced fumbles.
Fun Fact: Surmised to be the first long snapper signed by Clemson directly out of high school rather than to be placed on scholarship after arriving as a walk-on or to be signed to a different position
Michael Foster 6’3 230 DE, Indian Land HS, South Carolina – A very recent insertion to this list at 4:36 p.m. He is a productive edge presence who amassed 241 tackles in his final two prep seasons. According to Swinney, he is “high motor, loves football, an elite pass rusher with good size who has a chance and potential to get better.” He was credited with 232 career tackles, 21.0 sacks, seven pass breakups, and five forced fumbles over his final two prep seasons. He registered 140 tackles, 12.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and four pass breakups as a senior in 2025, and he earned 5A/4A Tri-County Defensive Player of the Year for 2025 from coaches in York, Lancaster, and Chester counties.
Fun Fact: He is the son of Russell Foster, an All-America linebacker at Western Kentucky who played professionally in the World League of American Football, Arena Football League and Canadian Football League
