On Sunday afternoon, Blake Stewart committed to Clemson Football, making him the 21st recruit in their No. 11 ranked recruiting class, per 247Sports.
He joins one of the best safety rooms in the 2026 class alongside four-star Kaden Gebhardt and Top-10 safety Kentavion Anderson.
He chose the Tigers over Miami, Michigan and Vanderbilt, all of which he had taken an official visit.
His decision wasn’t surprising to fanatics as he had been crystal-balled by three different insiders to commit to the historic program within the past month.

The two-way athlete has connected with Clemson all of this past year and currently ranks as the No. 307 overall recruit, the No. 24 safety and the No. 37 player in Georgia, per 247Sports Composite.
As a sophomore on varsity at Landmark Christian High School, Stewart started his path to stardom with four receptions for 38 yards on offense and 32 tackles, three pass deflections and an interception on the defensive side of the ball.
While his sophomore season didn’t put him on the map nationally or state-wide, his emergence would gradually come throughout his most recent junior season.
His transfer to Woodward Academy would assist in getting his name out there and playing against some of the state’s best competition, as Landmark Christian was only ranked No. 299 in the state of Georgia the previous season in comparison to Woodward’s No. 64 national ranking at the 5A state level.
Stewart would produce significant numbers at his new school, putting up 38 receptions, 463 yards and three touchdowns at wideout while totaling 80 tackles, eight pass deflections, four tackles for a loss and two interceptions in the secondary — putting up career-highs on both sides of the ball. He also added on a kickoff and punt return touchdown throughout his dominant junior campaign.
I honestly love the pickup for the Tigers, as Stewart is a rare five-sport athlete (football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse and track) who can be elite at whichever side of the ball he chooses. There’s room for him to develop and work on the more minor things on both sides but his development has been amazing, not to mention he has the natural talent and frame to play at the Power-4 level.
