It won’t be long now before the 2025 Clemson Softball Tigers take the field.
John Rittman’s team will start their season with a bang, joining multiple elite softball programs in two big-time tournaments. After the Paradise Classic in Boca Roton, Florida from February 6th to the 9th, the Tigers will visit the prestigious Shriner’s Children’s Clearwater Invitational from February 13th to the 19th.
All American Maddie Moore and All-ACC Alex Brown (and company) will hope you set your TVs to ESPN2 for the afternoon of Thursday, February 13th, where they will start in Clearwater with a top-15 matchup against Missouri at 1pm, followed by turning around and playing the second game of a double-header against Auburn at 4pm. The team will then play another SEC foe in Kentucky on Valentine’s Day (1pm, ESPN2), with UCF (9am, ACCN) and Ohio State (10am, ESPNU) wrapping up Clemson’s visit to Clearwater on February 15th and 16th, respectively.
You can check out the new 2025 Clemson Softball team in person on Sunday, February 2nd at noon for the Orange and Purple scrimmage, with free admission to McWhorter Stadium. You can also catch the Tigers in between Florida tournaments for an early-season warmup against Furman on February 11th at home in Clemson.
Sending the team to Clearwater with the passionate home fans at their backs will definitely make a difference as they face the best of the best to start the 2025 season.
