Former Tiger PJ Hall Brought up to NBA Roster After Torrid Streak for Nuggets’ G-League Team

PJ Hall can fill up a stat sheet.

As a star for Dorman High School in Spartanburg, then for four seasons at Clemson, and now for the Grand Rapids Gold, the G-League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, Hall has made a name for himself on the hardwood.

PJ Hall signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. A two-way contract allows Denver to recall or send Hall to the G-League as needed throughout the season, and his torrid scoring pace in Grand Rapids earned him a call to the Nuggets’ NBA roster, his third stint with the big club this season

For Grand Rapids, PJ Hall was averaging 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while shooting 39 percent from the field. That offensive production necessitated Denver to recall P.J. who has played in two games since being brought to Denver. In limited minutes he did notch a point on a made free throw against the Orlando Magic on January 19th.

Hall has tons of upside on the professional level and is another Clemson Tiger making his mark in the pros. It will be fun following his progress as he is just beginning his pro career.
