Starting this season, D1Baseball and the ACC are teaming up to produce ACC Extra, a new way to get in-depth analysis of each of the 16 ACC Baseball programs. This exclusive opportunity will become available on Tuesday, January 21st, on the D1Baseball website.
Starting in the preseason, the ACC Extra team will provide an array of ACC-related coverage. This will include a complete breakdown of each and every ACC team. These breakdowns will highlight multiple aspects of the team, such as what the lineup might look like, top prospects and players to keep an eye on throughout the course of the season.
The ACC Extra staff will be headlined by Bradley Smart, who is known for his role as the founder of Friday Starters. Smart is also known for the coverage and work which he has provided for Baseball America. This will be his first season on the D1Baseball staff. Helping Smart with ACC coverage throughout the season will be Joe Healy, Eric Sorenson, Shotgun Spratling, Walter Villa and Aaron Fitt.
D1Baseball will continue to provide the consistent analysis and content which it always provides without any additional purchases. This will include their live show which is broadcasted weekly, and their podcast, titled ACC Baseball Etc.. This production is hosted by Daron Vaught and Danny Graves, an MLB veteran of 11 years and former pitcher for the Miami Hurricanes.
It will cost $189.99 a year or $21.99 per month in order to gain access to a D1Baseball subscription with ACC Extra added on. If you already own a D1Baseball Subscription, you can add ACC Extra on for $49.99 for the year or $6.99 per month.
The D1 college baseball season will begin on February 14th, when No. 15 Clemson will play against No. 17 Oklahoma State at noon on the first day of the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
