Reflecting on the decision to move on, Stellato added, “After much thought, prayer, and discussions with my family, I have decided to enter my name into the Transfer Portal. This decision was not made lightly, but it’s what’s best for my future, and it’s time to take the next step in my journey. I’m excited about what lies ahead and will forever hold Clemson close to my heart. Thank you for everything. I will be entering the portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining.”
During his time at Clemson, Stellato totaled 25 receptions for 264 yards and one touchdown over nine games, including five starts. Unfortunately, he had been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 season due to a hand injury.
Entering 2024, Stellato had accumulated 40 catches for 336 yards and one touchdown across 603 snaps and 14 games (six starts). His 2024 campaign began with solid performances, including a pair of receptions for 23 yards against Appalachian State, followed by 38 yards on two catches against NC State. He set a career-high with 72 receiving yards and six receptions, including a touchdown, in a game at Wake Forest. Stellato continued to excel, posting a career-best 74 receiving yards and matching his career high with seven receptions in a victory over Virginia. Stellato’s breakout performance came in 2023 after battling injuries for much of his first two seasons at Clemson. Unfortunately, Stellato missed the entirety of the 2022 season after suffering an ACL injury during fall camp.
