The Savannah Bananas Baseball Club has selected Clemson University’s 81,500-seat Memorial Stadium, also known as Death Valley, as a stop on their 2025 Banana Ball World Tour. The game, scheduled for April 26, 2025, will feature the Bananas taking on their rivals, the Party Animals.
“We are beyond excited to welcome the Bananas to the Valley,” said Director of Athletics Graham Neff, who helped organize the event on Clemson’s behalf. “The Bananas’ innovation in the sports and entertainment space is world-class, and we are delighted to open our doors to fans from all over as part of the World Tour. The atmosphere in Death Valley is as good as it gets, and we are eager to help create an unforgettable experience when the Bananas come to town in April 2025.”

The 2025 tour, announced at a special draft event in Savannah on Thursday night, will be the Bananas’ biggest yet, with stops planned at 18 MLB stadiums and 3 football stadiums across 40 cities and 25 states. Over 2 million fans are expected to attend the “Greatest Show in Sports” as the Bananas bring their unique brand of Banana Ball across the country.
Banana Ball deviates from standard baseball rules to create a more exciting and engaging fan experience. The Bananas have been using this format since June 2020 for their home games and touring exhibitions.
Clemson’s massive football stadium gives the Bananas an opportunity to break their single-game attendance record of over 45,000, set in 2024 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Memorial Stadium has previously hosted major events like concerts by The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, U2, and Billy Joel.
Fans hoping to attend the Clemson game must join the Bananas’ ticket lottery by November 1, 2024, for a chance to purchase tickets. A random drawing will determine who gets to buy the coveted seats about 2 months before the event.
The 2025 World Tour is poised to introduce the Savannah Bananas’ entertaining style of baseball to their biggest audiences yet as they bring Banana Ball to major venues nationwide.
