Stanford @ (17) Clemson 7 PM
Clemson’s offense has been performing well this season, with several key players contributing to their success. The Tigers are led by Cade Klubnik, who has been effective in both passing and rushing, providing a dual-threat capability that keeps defenses on their toes. Additionally, Clemson running back Phil Mafah has had back-to-back 100+ yards rushing games, showcasing his ability to consistently gain significant yardage on the ground. The offensive line has also been solid, giving Klubnik time to make plays and opening up lanes for the running game. With these elements in place, Clemson’s offense is well-equipped to put up points against Stanford. Given their current form and offensive capabilities, I believe Clemson will win this matchup 35-13, as you predicted.
Clemson 55, Stanford 13
(2) Georgia @ (4) Alabama 7:30 PM
Alabama, ranked No. 4, will host No. 2 Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has been performing well, and as a home underdog, they have a strong chance to leverage their home-field advantage. Some analysts are picking Alabama to cover the spread, indicating confidence in their ability to compete closely with Georgia. Given Alabama’s strong track record at home and their motivation to prove themselves against a top-ranked opponent, I believe Alabama will win this matchup.
(2) Georgia 24, (4) Alabama 27
(19) Illinois @ (9) Penn State 7:30 PM
Penn State enters this game with a 3-0 record, while Illinois is 4-0, making this a significant Big Ten clash. Penn State is favored by 18 points, indicating strong confidence in their ability to perform well at home. Given Penn State’s offensive capabilities and home-field advantage, I believe they will secure a victory over Illinois. I predict Penn State will win with a score of 31-17.
(19) Illinois 17, (9) Penn State 31
(15) Louisville @ (16) Notre Dame 7:30 PM
The matchup between No. 15 Louisville and No. 16 Notre Dame is shaping up to be a pivotal game for both teams. Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, Louisville is looking to maintain their perfect start to the season, currently sitting at 3-0. Notre Dame, with a record of 3-1, is aiming to bounce back after a previous loss and keep their playoff hopes alive. The game is expected to be closely contested, with Notre Dame favored by 6.5 points according to BetMGM odds. However, Louisville’s strong start and their ranking in various defensive metrics, such as sixth in pass efficiency and eighth in interceptions, suggest they have the tools to challenge Notre Dame effectively. I believe Louisville will indeed win, handing Notre Dame their second loss of the season.
(15) Louisville 27, @ (16) Notre Dame 20
(20) Oklahoma State @ (23) Kansas State NOON.
I believe Kansas State will have the edge. Given their strong performance and home-field advantage, I predict Kansas State will come out on top. It’s going to be a tightly contested game, but Kansas State’s balanced attack and solid defense should see them through to victory.

Clemson welcomes a new friend to Death Valley this weekend. The Tigers stock is rising ever since the Georgia game, with explosive offense and Cade Klubnik looking very good. The offense is clicking, the line is blocking, the wide receivers are blocking, and…gasp…getting seperation! The Tigers roll this weekend against a game Stanford team coming off a nice win at Syracuse last week.
Clemson 41 – Stanford 17
(2) Georgia @ (4) Alabama
Georgia has, arguably, the best win of the year beating Clemson week 1. Bama struggled in the first half against USF a few weeks ago. UGA struggled with Kentucky two weeks ago. Something has to give. I like Bama here, and I’m not sure why. How about that for analysis?!?
Alabama 24 – Georgia 21
(19) Illinois @ (9) Penn State 7:30 p.m.
I always laugh that Penn State is called “Happy Valley” to our “Death Valley.” And the way the Nittany Lions fall flat on their faces in big games, it’s hard to find happy blue and white fans late in the season with yet another trip to the Outback Bowl. Drew Allar came in to a lot of acclaim, only to be a meh quarterback. They’ve started out well this season, like they do every season. Illinois is coming off a hard fought, fun victory last week against Nebraska on the road. Illini Quarterback Luke Altmeyer leads his team to an upset of the biggest frauds in college football.
Illinois 23 – Penn State 21
(15) Louisville @ (16) Notre Dame
Louisville basically ruined Notre Dame’s season last year with a beat down of Sam Hartman and the Irish. Louisville may be the best team in the ACC in the early going and now they head to South Bend to battle (yet another former ACC QB) Riley Leonard. Notre Dame took their yearly loss to a MAC team a few weeks ago, but bounced back with a thrashing of Purdue and win against Miami (Ohio) in back to back weeks leading up to this matchup with Louisville. I can’t pick Notre Dame. I just can’t.
Louisville 31 – Notre Dame 30
(20) Oklahoma State @ (23) Kansas State
Kansas State took one on the chin a week ago against BYU and now get ranked Okie State coming to Manhattan, Kansas. Ollie Gordon II will lead the Cowboys to a victory and hand Kansas State its second consecutive loss.

The Clemson Tigers are roaring into their homecoming match-up with their guests from Cali. It is the first meeting between Clemson and Stanford since the 1986 Gator Bowl, a 27-21 Tigers win. Clemson has scored 66 and 59 points in consecutive games, and while I don’t think they score that many on Saturday, the resurgent Tigers will pull away in the second half.
Clemson 42, Stanford 17
(2) Georgia @ (4) Alabama 7:30PM
Well, we aren’t used to this match-up this early in the season, but it should make for must watch TV. Georgia hasn’t convinced me, especially after their close call at Kentucky, and Alabama has shown it can score with anyone. The Dawgs will wind up on a Sarah McLaughlin commercial in this one.
Alabama 31, Georgia 24
(19) Illinois @ (9) Penn State 7:30 p.m.
Intriguing match-up in Happy Valley. Illinois has been a surprise so far this season. If this game were in Illinois I might pick differently, but Penn State will find a way at home.
Penn State 34, Illinois 31
(15) Louisville @ (16) Notre Dame
On paper, this is about as even a match-up as you can get. Louisville will have a chance to prove they are for real, while the Irish will have an opportunity to throw their name back in the play-off hat. Louisville is a solid team, but until I see them beat an equal or better team, they aren’t getting the benefit of my doubt. Give me Notre Dame in a tight one.
Notre Dame 24, Louisville 21
(20) Oklahoma State @ (23) Kansas State
Who can pick against the mullet? Not me! The Cowboys ride off with the win in this one.

Stanford @ 17 Clemson – 7 PM
The Clemson offense finally looks explosive after consistent weeks with incredible offensive production. Stanford has the physicality and grit to be able to win this game, but the Tigers have too much talent. Cade Klubnik will open up the game with the pass, and the run game will complement it. Tigers win and cover the spread.
Clemson 42, Stanford 17
2 Georgia @ 4 Alabama – 7:30 PM
Game of the year, in my opinion. This is the first top-5 matchup of the season and will set the tone for the rest of the SEC going forward. Georgia can’t slip up with its strength of schedule (Texas, Ole Miss, etc.) but Alabama will not want to lose this at home. Jalen Milroe was my Heisman pick this season, and Kalen DeBoer is a winner. Bama has generally almost always had the Bulldogs’ number in recent times, so roll. Tide.
Alabama 35, Georgia 31
19 Illinois @ 9 Penn State – 7:30 PM
Come on. Illinois had a great win against Nebraska in Omaha, but this is Penn State. James Franklin only loses to two teams: Ohio State and Michigan. They have looked very good this season, and regardless of who they played, they are not on the same level as Nebraska. The Nittany Lions roll at home.
Penn State 31, Illinois 17
15 Louisville @ 16 Notre Dame – 3:30 PM
What a physical game this is. Notre Dame has its “Green Out” in this game against the Cardinals with hopes to get revenge from last week. For some reason, though, I don’t see them winning this game. I haven’t been impressed with Riley Leonard at all, and the Irish’s run game has not looked good compared to last year. Louisville is a serious ACC contender and they win a close one.
Louisville 23, Notre Dame 20
20 Oklahoma State @ 23 Kansas State – Noon
Both teams are coming off of a loss, so it’s a matter of star power and who that opponent was. For the Pokes, a close loss to Utah at home. For the Wildcats, a bad loss away to BYU. Oklahoma State have the star power with Alan Bowman and Ollie Gordon II, and I think that proves to be the biggest factor. Gordon finally gets going on Saturday.
Oklahoma State 27, Kansas State 21

Clemson is solid from start to finish in this one.

(2) Georgia @ (4) Alabama 7:30PM
This will be an absolute grudge match but I think Alabama will have a few more explosive plays for the win.
Georgia 27, Alabama 38

Illinois gets stopped enough by Penn State’s defense to give Penn State the win.
Illinois 20, Penn State 34
(15) Louisville @ (16) Notre Dame
I’m taking the upset in this one. Louisville’s explosive play making will be the difference late in the game.
Louisville 20, Notre Dame 17

This one could go either way and both teams are looking for a win after losing last week.

Stanford is coming off of a close win to Kyle McCord and Syracuse but it seemed like they needed McCord to have one of the worst performances of his career to stand tall and steal a win. Meanwhile Clemson QB Cade Klubnik is currently on the watchlist for being a Heisman candidate so it’ll be hard to scrape out a bad game against him and this Clemson offense; especially with Stanford’s defense. Go Tigers!
Clemson 40, Stanford 10
(2) Georgia @ (4) Alabama 7:30PM
While Alabama is the lower ranked team, both are extremely dominant on both ends. But I think what wins this game is a good offensive performance. With that being said, Alabama seems to have the more consistent and dominant offense from what it’s looked like this season with 42+ point performances through three games so far. True-freshmen WR Ryan Williams can’t be stopped and neither can Milroe. I simply see no flaws in this offense.
Alabama 35, Georgia 17
(19) Illinois @ (9) Penn State
I honestly don’t have much to say about this game because I simply just think this Illinois run is fraudulent. Penn State has looked more dominant than I’ve seen them in years and Illinois has simply just not faced serious competition besides a young Nebraska team. While I don’t think Illinois is bad, I simply think they’re just overrated and Penn State will show that this weekend
Penn State 42, Illinois 10
(15) Louisville @ (16) Notre Dame
Louisville wins this in a close one as Notre Dame and newly acquired QB Riley Leonard has been pretty underwhelming to say the least. Senior QB Tyler Shough has also played amazing this season throwing for 850 yards and 8 touchdowns heading into this game.
Louisville 23, Notre Dame 20
(20) Oklahoma State @ (23) Kansas State
Both teams are coming off losses and a lot of people favor Oklahoma State in this matchup but I just don’t see it. Oklahoma State is coming off a close win off a tough Utah team, but let’s not forget QB Cam Rising didn’t even see the field. RB Ollie Gordon hasn’t been as dominant as many thought to be either, rushing for 258 yards and averaging just 3.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile BYU destroyed Kansas State, which isn’t a good look but I don’t think BYU is an awful team whatsoever. I also think people are forgetting that Kansas State beat a ranked Tulane team to start and blowout a solid Arizona offense. Alan Bowman has played very good for the Cowboys and that will be the only possible reason they could win… but they won’t. Give me Kansas State.
Kansas State 30, Oklahoma State 27
