Class of 2026: Top 35 Prospect Toni Bryant offered by Clemson Basketball

Clemson and Head Coach Brad Brownell have extended their third offer to a player in the class of 2026, Toni Bryant, a six-foot-nine, 200-pound power forward. This makes it Clemson’s second offer to go out to a top 100 recruit in the class within the past week.

Bryant is ranked as the No. 34 nationally ranked player, No. 6 overall at his position, and the No. 6 overall in his state for the class of 2026, per 247Sports. He holds 15 offers as of now, including Kansas, LSU, Illinois, Tennessee, and Houston, among others.

Ironically, Bryant never really had an interest in basketball growing up, but he eventually picked it up in the seventh grade after watching his brother play for years. However, he showed massive potential due to his size.

By the eighth grade, he was already on North Tampa Christian Academy’s varsity squad, making an immediate impact, playing in 15 games and averaging eight points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. Now, as a sophomore, he played in 26 games, averaging 19 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a whopping nine blocks. Looking at these averages, you can tell the tremendous growth Bryant has gone through as a late bloomer. He excels as an interior presence offensively and defensively while still looking to improve his outside game and create scoring opportunities for himself.

“I always get a decent amount of shots up everyday, I’m always in the gym. I’ll workout in the morning then go back in the afternoon to get some shots up, I’m always working on my shot.”

The highly touted big man also showcased that he can be just as impactful against the highest level of competition as he played in the Nike E16 Circuit for Nightrydas Elite this past summer. Bryant shot 61% from the field, 57% from three, and 59% from the free throw line while averaging 22.5 minutes, 11.5 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and three blocks in ten games.

While his averages were dragged down due to a slow start and lack of minutes, he dominated the final six games he played. He averaged 29 minutes, 17 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and three blocks on 65/60/60 shooting splits throughout those six games.

Just last month, he traveled to North Carolina for an unofficial visit to Wake Forest, so expect to see Clemson’s recruiting of Bryant to ramp up as his stock continues to rise.
