Insights from the Orb: 2025 Bryce Davis crystal-balled to commit to Clemson Football

As we reach closer toward the commitment of the top 2025 defensive prospect, Bryce Davis, Clemson is heating up in the recruiting department as four different 247Sports experts predict he will come to Tigertown.

In the past weeks, Georgia appeared to be the favorite for the four-star prospect, but something must’ve changed.

This past Wednesday, two Clemson insiders for 247Sports, Austin Hannon and Cory Fravel, crystal-balled Davis to commit to the University. This may seem like a biased take, but Clemson has always been one of the defensive linemen’s top choices as he unofficially visited two times in 2023 and took an official visit on May 31, 2024.

Not only did Clemson insiders crystal-ball Davis to Clemson, but even Georgia insiders Kipp Adams and Benjamin Wolk did as well. While it seems random, all four experts combine for a 95% prediction accuracy for the class of 2025, so they must be doing something right.

The only reason I could see why this crystal ball prediction came out today is due to so many defensive linemen already at other schools he is getting recruited by or has too many others coming in. Clemson has much less depth and recruits coming in at his position.

Regardless, seeing where this drama leads on July 20, his commitment date will be interesting.
