Tigers Unveil 2024 Schedule and New Jervey Gym Upgrades

CLEMSON, S.C. – Excitement is in the air as Clemson Volleyball, under the leadership of Head Coach Jackie Simpson Kirr, revealed their 2024 season schedule on Monday, July 1. This season, the Tigers will face a challenging lineup, including 11 non-conference games and 20 ACC matchups. Impressively, nine of their opponents reached the postseason in 2023.

The 2024 campaign is especially notable as it marks the debut of the newly renovated Jervey Gym. After the 2023 home season, the gym underwent significant upgrades, expanding by more than 14,000 square feet. Fans can look forward to an enhanced experience with a raised ceiling, upgraded lighting, modern bleachers, a state-of-the-art sound system, and a new videoboard. Additionally, the ACEs Club Lounge is set to open in 2025.

After their successful second-consecutive NIVC run in 2023, the Tigers will kick off the 2024 season with the Orange and Purple scrimmage on August 17 at 1 p.m. This will be followed by an exhibition match at Georgia on August 24. Clemson’s regular season begins with a three-game series hosted by Western Michigan in Kalamazoo. The team will then continue on the road, competing in tournaments at Georgia Southern and Appalachian State, facing teams such as Loyola Chicago, Loyola Marymount, Western Michigan, Maryland Eastern Shore, Georgia Southern, Appalachian State, Wofford, and Winthrop.

Clemson’s home opener at the revamped Jervey Gym is set for September 19 against Kennesaw State. The next day, they host a rivalry match against South Carolina for Alumni Weekend, followed by a non-conference game against Furman on September 21.

ACC play kicks off on September 27 with Clemson hosting Pitt at Jervey Gym, followed by a match against new ACC member SMU on September 29. The home conference schedule continues with games against Virginia (October 11), Virginia Tech (October 13), Georgia Tech (October 18), Wake Forest (October 25), NC State (October 27), Boston College (November 15), and Syracuse (November 17, which is also Senior Day). The Tigers’ final home game is scheduled for November 29 against North Carolina.

On the road, Clemson’s ACC journey starts in Louisville on October 4. They will also travel to face Notre Dame (October 6), Georgia Tech (October 16), North Carolina (November 1), Duke (November 3), Stanford (November 8), California (November 9), Miami (November 22), Florida State (November 24), and Boston College (November 27).

All home games at the new Jervey Gym offer general admission seating and are free to the public. Please note that dates and opponents are subject to change. Information about the Clemson Volleyball broadcast schedule will be released later.
