Defensive End Adam Kissayi Enters Transfer Portal

Adam Kissayi was not on the Clemson campus, or the Tigers’ football team, very long.

The freshman defensive end, who was a mid-year enrollee, has entered his name into the transfer portal. The former 3-star recruit committed to Clemson last July. He signed with the Tigers following his decommitment from Minnesota. After he back off his pledge to the Golden Gophers, it took him 48 hours to commit to Clemson.

Kissayi played in the Clemson spring game, but was seen a raw, developmental player who would have been further down the depth chart in a deep group of defensive ends.

Adam Kissayi played high school football for Bayside and Heritage High Schools in Florida and was rated by On3 as the 287th best prospect in the 2023 recruiting class and the 27th best pass rusher.
