Clemson Softball drops series finale to Virginia

The Cavaliers struck first, taking advantage of an error in the second inning. They added two more runs in the fifth inning, securing a 3-0 lead that held for the rest of the game.

Defensive Highlights

Clemson executed one double play, with Alia Logoleo making a key play up the middle. Millie Thompson started in the circle, pitching 4.1 innings with two strikeouts. Brooke McCubbin pitched the final 1.2 innings.

Offensive Performance

Freshman Kylee Johnson recorded two hits, her second multi-hit game of the year. Senior McKenzie Clark and junior Alex Brown also contributed hits. Additionally, Clark, Arielle Oda, and Valerie Cagle drew walks, while Brown and Lindsey Garcia were hit by pitches.
