Clemson Gymnastics Team Secures Third Consecutive Win Against North Carolina

What an exciting time for the Clemson Gymnastics team! They just secured their third consecutive victory against North Carolina, scoring an impressive 196.550-194.250. The team is having a stellar inaugural season, and their latest win showcases just how talented and dedicated these athletes truly are. The Clemson Gymnastics team was led by bars-specialist Kaitlin DeGuzman, who secured an impressive 9.875 on bars, tying her season-high score. Her performance was electrifying, leaving the crowd and judges in awe. Additionally, team member Lauren Rutherford stuck her blind landing and tied a career-high on vault with a 9.925, winning the event for the second week in a row. Rutherford has been on a roll this season and is proving to be a valuable asset to the team.

Freshman Maggie Holman also delivered a strong performance in her first collegiate meet, tying her season-high on floor exercise. Her talent and skill were evident throughout the routine, leaving fans and judges impressed. Furthermore, Kielyn McCright and Clark shared the beam event title, with both scoring impressive 9.900 routines. Their synchronicity and attention to detail were mesmerizing to watch.

Led by all-rounder Mackenzie Wells, the Tigers achieved a season-high score of 39.225 in all-around scores.
