The Clemson Softball program is thrilled to offer fans a sneak peek of the 2024 roster through an Orange vs. Purple intrasquad scrimmage at McWhorter Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 4, starting at noon, weather permitting. This exciting event is free and open to the public, with gates opening at 11:15 a.m., and no tickets required. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to witness the team in action before the official start of the 2024 campaign on Feb. 8 in Clearwater, Fla., at the NFCA Leadoff Classic. Following 11 road games, the Tigers will return for the 2024 home opener on Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. against Ole Miss, marking the commencement of the 2024 Clemson Classic. The softball team, positioned for another formidable season, holds top-seven rankings in both Softball America (No. 5) and D1Softball (No. 7) polls released as of Jan. 16.
For those eager to catch the excitement of 2024 home games at McWhorter Stadium, single-game tickets will be available to IPTAY members on Jan. 18 and to the general public on Jan. 25. In addition to online purchases, fans are encouraged to visit the ticket table outside the main gate on game days for additional ticket options. All single-game tickets are designated for the berm area. Throughout the season, fans can address any ticketing inquiries by calling 1-800-CLEMSON (1-800-253-6766). Head Coach John Rittman expressed gratitude for the community’s support since the introduction of softball at Clemson, emphasizing the commitment to making games accessible. A note for fans regarding parking: Due to construction on Jervey Gym and the new Watt Family Athletic Performance and Wellness Center, it is advisable to park in Lot 5 (adjacent to Memorial Stadium) or Jervey Meadows.
