2024 Signee Dallas Thomas Nominated for McDonald’s All-American Game!

Big news for Clemson Hoops as class of 2024 four-star signee Dallas Thomas has been chosen as a nominee for the annual McDonald’s All-American Game. The 6’9 Power Forward from Parkview Magnet High School in Little Rock, Arkansas is averaging 20 points and 6 rebounds a game so far this season.

He committed to the Tigers back on July 10th. If Thomas was to be named to the game he would become just the 5th Clemson signee to play. This list includes Tigers Clark Bynum (1980), Ricky Jones (1986), Sharone Wright (1991), and Milton Jennings (2009).

Thomas is a top 75 player in the 2024 class and the 4th highest-rated recruit in school history according to 247 Sports. He held offers from some of the top schools in the country such as Arkansas, Auburn, Houston, TCU, Illinois, Memphis, Ole Miss, Missouri, and many others.

Thomas was the first commit in the 2024 class and has become one of the highest-ranked classes Clemson has ever had. The Tigers currently sit 22nd in the 247 sports recruiting ranking. Joining Thomas on campus this year is Del Jones a top 70 player in the country out of Compass Prep in Arizona.

Del is one of the best point guards in the country and will make an immediate impact on the Tigers. The third member of the 2024 recruiting class is three-star combo guard Ace Buckner. The La Lumiere product is ranked as the 9th best combo guard in the country according to On3 Sports.

These three will no doubt make an instant impact for the Tigers next year. I got the chance to ask Dallas a few questions about being a nominee and his overall excitement about enrolling in Clemson later this year.
