The All-ACC Team for 2023 was unveiled by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Tuesday night, spotlighting eight standout Clemson players. This marks the ninth consecutive year and the 13th season in the last 13 that Clemson has seen a minimum of eight players honored in the all-conference selections.
Securing first-team accolades were three players: defensive tackle Tyler Davis, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., and cornerback Nate Wiggins. Linebacker Barrett Carter earned a second-team nod, while tight end Jake Briningstool, offensive tackle Blake Miller, center Will Putnam, and defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro secured places on the third team. Additionally, seven other players received a total of eight honorable mentions.
Tyler Davis, with his fourth career selection, joins an elite group in school history, including Travis Etienne, C.J. Spiller, Nelson Welch, and Mitch Hyatt, as one of the few players with at least four career All-ACC selections. Notably, Davis, boasting a record 51 career starts as a defensive player, becomes the first in Clemson history to achieve four career All-ACC honors.
Among the first-time selections were Trotter, Wiggins, Carter, Briningstool, Miller, and Orhorohoro. Putnam secured a repeat selection after earning All-ACC honors the previous year.
