Clifton Canady – Associate Sports Director (36-14)
16 Oregon State @ 6 Oregon
I believe that the Oregon Ducks will emerge victorious with a score of 31-10. With their strong performance throughout the season, the Ducks have shown their dominance on the field. Bo Nix will just be too much for the Beavers to handle, and Oregon’s defense will be able to contain their offense. However, don’t underestimate the Beavers as they have been playing well recently, winning three of their last four games. This matchup will definitely be a tough one, but I am confident that Oregon will come out on top.

2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan
The much-anticipated game between Ohio State and Michigan is set to be a nail-biter. With both teams showing exceptional form this season, it’s a tough call to predict the outcome. However, considering the odds and recent performances, I’m leaning towards an Ohio State victory. The Buckeyes have shown resilience that could edge them past the Wolverines. My prediction for the final score is a close 23-21 win in favor of Ohio State.
2 Ohio State 23, 3 Michigan 21
North Carolina @ 22 NC State
Both teams have shown great form this season, each boasting an 8-3 overall record. However, NC State has the edge in ACC play with a 5-2 record as opposed to the Tar Heels’ 4-3. Adding to this, the Wolfpack are riding high on a four-game winning streak, showcasing their momentum coming into this game. The key factor that sways my prediction in favor of NC State is their defense.

24 Clemson @ South Carolina
Clemson, coming off a solid 31-20 victory over North Carolina, is favored by 7.5 points, indicating their strong standing in this matchup. The Tigers have been in fine form recently, boasting a three-game winning streak. On the other hand, South Carolina has also racked up three consecutive wins, but against opponents of lesser stature. Klubnik needs to handle the crowd and manage the game well. Also, Clemson’s defense needs to play well and get to the QB.

16 Oregon State @ 6 Oregon – Oregon uses this game for their CFP resume. I’ve been high on them all year, and I think their offense is too good for Oregon State to stop, especially when the Ducks have the home-field advantage. Bo Nix’s Heisman game is this one.
Oregon State 24, Oregon 38
2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan – Basically a win-or-go-home game if either team wants to make the CFP. Again, I still don’t know if I trust Kyle McCord. His team has been undefeated all year, so he has been proving me wrong. But the game is in Michigan and the Wolverines have had their number the past few seasons. And I think it happens again.
Ohio State 21 Michigan 27
5 Florida State @ Florida – This game will be closer than what people expected from a week ago. Both starting quarterbacks on each side are out and prayers are up to both of them, but the atmosphere favors the Gators who are at home. Despite this, I expect the rest of the cast on Mike Norvell’s squad to take over this game late, and help the Seminoles stay undefeated and in the hunt for the College Football Playoff.
Florida State 31, Florida 21
North Carolina @ 22 NC State
Always a fun one. This matchup is another type of game where two teams are trending in the opposite direction. It also could be the last of Drake Maye’s career with the Tar Heels, making higher stakes for Saturday. I think the NC State defense is able to hold him enough, and the offense will be able to handle a troubled North Carolina defense and pull out with a home win.
North Carolina 21, NC State 24
24 Clemson @ South Carolina – Clemson has been waiting for this one since 31-30. The atmosphere and the game favor the Gamecocks, with one Clemson early turnover changing the state of the game. However, despite the lack of success of playing away, the strides that this Clemson team has made over the last three weeks makes me confident that Clemson will be able to hold South Carolina enough that the Tigers will pull out an away win in a hostile environment. The defense wins it for them.

16 Oregon State @ 6 Oregon – DJ has had a really good season…if you don’t dig into his numbers and just look at his team’s record. Head Coach John Smith may be gone by week’s end, but this game shouldn’t and won’t be close. Dan Lanning and the Ducks are rolling and I think they beat Washington next weekend and start some chaos in regards to the college football playoffs.
Oregon State 10, Oregon 41
2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan – I was trying so hard to stay away from this game. At the start of the season it seemed Michigan would run away with this one, but Ohio State has been playing really well of late, and Kyle McCord is starting to get the ball to his playmakers and let them cook. No Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines for Michigan. UGH! I’m going Ohio State close.
Ohio State 22, Michigan 19
5 Florida State @ Florida – I put my money where my mouth is with this game while in a state with legal sports gambling for the week. Florida +11. I think FSU wins, but without Jordan Travis they may not be AS explosive. Tate Rodemaker has been in the system for a few years, but he’s not Travis. As long as Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman are on the outside and the stable of running backs are healthy, FSU wins, but closer than they’d like in this rivalry matchup.
Florida State 27, Florida 20
North Carolina @ 22 NC State – I truly do not believe NC State is any good. I’m not sure why, yet Brannan Armstrong is back at QB for the Wolfpack. But North Carolina still has Drake Maye and he’s going to light up the Pack defense. UNC by a ton.
North Carolina 41, NC State 20
24 Clemson @ South Carolina – The closer this game has come this week, the more nervous I get. The narrative is now that Clemson has looked bad on the road (which is true), and had a lot of fumbles on the road (also true), and that Willy B will be rocking (true for a half). I’ve watched a lot of gamecock football this year, and Spencer Rattler is a load. He’s having a great year. Xavier Legette is incredible at wideout. Nyck Harbor is going to be a problem going forward, but not yet. I just think Cade and Company (even with the WR room being banged up) will do just enough to pull out the win and bring bragging rights back to their rightful home. Clemson! Go Tigers!

16 Oregon State @ 6 Oregon – I think Oregon walks away with this one. The Ducks are playing like one of the best teams in the country and they will show it again on Friday night.
Oregon State 17, Oregon 45
2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan – “The Game”. I think this is the biggest game of the day for sure. With all of the things going on around the Michigan program, and with their head coach not on the sideline with them, it would be easy to pick Ohio State. I just think Michigan is the better team. the home field advantage will be too much I think.
Ohio State 24 Michigan 27
5 Florida State @ Florida – The Gators and Seminoles are now both without their starting quarterbacks. I think this will actually be a tight game for 3 quarters and eventually FSU will start to pull away. Without Jordan Travis I still think FSU is a very good team, just not playoff level like they have been to this point.
Florida State 38, Florida 21
North Carolina @ 22 NC State
NC State will be taking on the real Carolina this weekend. Give me Drake Maye and the Tar Heels.
North Carolina 35, NC State 24
24 Clemson @ South Carolina – Clemson players, coaches, and fans have heard enough smack talk since last season when the Gamecocks came in to Death Valley and beat the Tigers 31-30. Xavier Legette and Spencer Rattler have been a deadly combo this season for South Carolina, but I dont think their offensive line will provide enough time for the passing game to get running. I think the Clemson defense is able to keep the Tigers in the game long enough for the offense to get warmed up and rolling. I like Clemson to win a close game in Columbia.

16 Oregon State @ 6 Oregon
The Oregon Ducks and quarterback Bo Nix have been one of the best teams in the country all season. Oregon State, led by former Clemson quarterback DJ U, has faded down the stretch. The Beavers were a feel-good story early in the season but give me the Ducks to fly away with this one.
Oregon State 17, Oregon 42
2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan
The game of the week if you love high drama with everyone on the line. To be blunt, I find no redeeming qualities in either program. If I could, I would pull for an asteroid to hit the stadium. Short of the miniscule chance that happens, Ohio State wins a nailbiter.
Ohio State 21, Michigan 17
5 Florida State @ Florida
Last week I would not have picked this game to be close. Florida State would have blown out their in-state rival. With Jordan Travis going down, this one gets far more interesting. I still think the Seminoles have too much talent across the board and will take the Seminoles to win on a late field goal.
Florida State 24, Florida 21
North Carolina @ 22 NC State
The Tar Heels will come into their rivalry game pissed off after getting beat around by Clemson last week. NC State has played good football lately, but Drake Maye is better than anyone the Wolfpack can put on the field. Give me the ‘Heels.

BBQ chicken is tasty! So is grilled Rattler. Clemson is hungry and both are on the menu at Williams-Brice Stadium!
