9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina

15 Notre Dame @ Clemson

Clifton Canady – Associate Sports Director (24-11)

12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia – Based on my research, the upcoming football game between #12 Missouri and #2 Georgia is likely to be a thrilling event. Georgia is entering the game as a strong favorite, however, it’s worth mentioning that Missouri might bring a surprise, with Connor Cook leading the charge. Despite the challenges, I am leaning towards a Georgia victory.

Missouri 28 Georgia 35

14 LSU @ 8 Alabama – Alabama’s superior record against the spread this season might give them an edge. In what promises to be a captivating game, I predict Alabama will leverage its defensive skill to secure a win in an offensive shootout. My predicted score: Alabama 32, LSU 26.

14 LSU 21, Alabama 24

9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State – The upcoming face-off between #9 Oklahoma and #22 Oklahoma State, also known as the Bedlam Rivalry, is expected to be a nail-biting encounter. The Sooners have shown an impressive performance this season with a 7-1 record against the spread. However, Oklahoma State cannot be written off easily. However, in light of recent performances and considering the home advantage, I’m predicting an upset with Oklahoma State edging out Oklahoma in a close contest.

Oklahoma 30, Oklahoma State 31

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina – The upcoming clash between Jacksonville State and South Carolina presents an interesting match-up. South Carolina, despite some ups and downs this season, has shown a strong offensive front that could prove challenging for Jacksonville State’s defense. On the other hand, Jacksonville State is not to be underestimated, as they have pulled off some surprising performances this season. I anticipate South Carolina will outscore Jacksonville State by 11 points.

Jacksonville State 17, South Carolina 28

15 Notre Dame @ Clemson – This game is big for Clemson to get back on their winning ways. While Notre Dame has been performing well above its average, Clemson’s defense has been excellent this season and could potentially hold Notre Dame under its 38-point-per-game average. However, it’s important to note that Clemson will be up against Notre Dame’s 3rd-ranked pass. Despite Notre Dame being a 3-point road favorite, I’m going to pick Clemson for a win in this game.

15 Notre Dame22, Clemson 27

Griffin Barfield – Staff Writer (22-13)

12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia – This is Georgia’s first test of the season. It starts a stretch where they face off against Tennessee and Ole Miss as well, and Georgia has to start these games on a high note. It’s in Athens, and Kirby Smart will make sure that his team doesn’t lose at home. They’re the best team in college football on paper, and despite Missouri’s electric and exciting players, the Georgia defense gets a stop to keep them undefeated.

Missouri 24, Georgia 28

14 LSU @ 8 Alabama – Most likely, this matchup will decide who plays in the SEC Championship in a few weeks (most likely against Georgia). LSU won last year in their Death Valley, and Alabama remembers this. Yes, they are facing the best offense in college football, but I am never fading Alabama away from home. In a must-watch game, Alabama gets a defensive stop in an offensive shootout and wins.

LSU 38, Alabama 42

9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State – It’s a shame that this will be the last year of “Bedlam” for a little, but the stakes have never been higher. The best player on the field will be the Cowboys’ Ollie Gordon II, who has been my favorite running back to watch this season. The Sooners are coming off of a loss and Oklahoma State has rattled four straight wins against conference opponents. If the game was in Norman, I’d take Oklahoma, but I’m rolling with the Cowboys to get a home win.

Oklahoma 27, Oklahoma State 30

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina – Gamecocks v. Gamecocks. However, South Carolina has looked abysmal as of late, as they have been unable to get an offense going. They play a FCS opponent, and the game is at home, which could bring some optimism for this game. The spread is more than two touchdowns in South Carolina’s favor, but I think the game will be closer than that. The Gamecocks (the garnet ones) bounce back and get a crucial win for the program.

Jacksonville State 28 South Carolina 38

15 Notre Dame @ Clemson – I don’t think there has been a more crucial game for a program than this one for Clemson. Notre Dame is battle-tested and have plenty of pieces to win this game. However, the game is at Death Valley, and after an eventful week in Tigertown, expect Clemson to give it their all. Despite this, I think it’s a close game, but a costly Tiger turnover as well as the Irish’s tough team will give Notre Dame a late lead and win.

Notre Dame 27 Clemson 17

Drew Watts – Senior Staff Writer (18-12)

12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia – The first big test of the season for Georgia. Will Missouri be ready to take the next step and control their own destiny in the SEC East? No shot. This game is at Georgia and the Bulldogs are just too talented for Missouri to take this one. I think UGA wins by 17.

Missouri 21, Georgia 38

14 LSU @ 8 Alabama – This game will more than likely determine who makes it to Atlanta for the SEC Title game. Neither team has been elite this year, but I do think they have been very evenly matched. This is going to be a great game, and I think Alabama pulls it off in a close one.

LSU 35, Alabama 38

9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State – This is going to be an extremely fun game to watch. Oklahoma State has been must-see tv this year, and we know where Oklahoma is, and has been all year. this will be the last time we get to watch these teams face off as members of the Big 12, and Ill definitely be tuned in. I really think its a coin flip, but history tells me to take Oklahoma.

Oklahoma 31 Oklahoma State 28

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina – The battle of the Gamecocks. Jacksonville State has shown to be a pretty good running team this year, especially with their quarterback, and South Carolina has not been very good at anything on defense. However, I do think South Carolina has a little bit more depth in this game and I love the matchup of Spencer Rattler vs Jacksonville State’s secondary. I like South Carolina in this game.

Jacksonville State 21 South Carolina 38

14 Notre Dame @ Clemson – Will Tyler from Spartanburg have this team and coaching staff more juiced up for this game? Will Clemson throw in the towel and fold on the season, or will they come out and play on fire to show that they want to finish strong? I’m not really sure what to expect, but I know that this is not a great matchup for Clemson. I think Notre Dame makes it ugly and walks out of Death Valley with a comfortable win.

Notre Dame 42 Clemson 17

Garrett Mitchell- Staff Writer

12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia

Who would have thought that Missouri’s trip to Athens in 2023 would be one of the more compelling games of the season? Well, here we are. The Tigers have been a cool story, and they will battle the Dawgs to the finish, but it is hard to go between the hedges and win.

Missouri 27, Georgia 38

14 LSU @ 8 Alabama

Another game with must-watch potential this week. The Crimson Tide have had their share of trouble this year, but still only have one close loss. The same principal applies, and going into Bryant Denny Stadium and winning does not happen often. It will not happen twice in one season.

LSU 28, Alabama 41

9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State

Nobody saw the Sooners’ loss to Kansas coming, despite the Jayhawks’ improvement. Brent Venables is on the cusp of having Oklahoma in national title contention. The Sooners rebound in a big way this week and lasso the Cowboys.

Oklahoma 42, Oklahoma State 24

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina

Since the Gamecocks are not going to be bowl eligible this season, they might as well be thrown a bone to chew on. South Carolina wins, and maybe they will tear the goal posts down and march them to Five Points.

Jacksonville State 28, South Carolina 49

15 Notre Dame @ Clemson

Is this an episode of the X-Files? Like Agent Mulder, I want to believe! Do I think Clemson can win this game? Anything is possible. Injuries to key players worry me, and I am not sure that the Tigers can be consistent enough on offense to pull off the upset. I hope I am wrong, but Tyler is not going to be happy.

Notre Dame 24, Clemson 14

Casey Cregan – Staff Writer (22-13)

12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia

Georgia has looked like Georgia the last few weeks after having the public question if they’re as good as they’ve been. Mizzou is having its best season in years! I’m doing it. Just because.

Missouri 24, Georgia 21

14 LSU @ 8 Alabama

I’ve wanted to pick LSU in this game all week. I just can’t see Bama (who’s gaining steam and getting better every week) loses at home. Jayden Daniels and that offense for LSU is dangerous. That defense, is horrid.

LSU 38, Alabama 44

9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State

I’ve watched a lot of Oklahoma this year. I’ve not watched a bunch of Oklahoma State this year. Not the analysis that you all deserve, and I apologize. That being said…

Oklahoma 41, Oklahoma State 21

Jacksonville State @ South Carolina

Rich Rod is the coach at Jax State, just in case you didn’t know that. He’ll have his team ready to play. Beamer better have his, or else they could suffer (another) embarrasing loss. Spencer Rattler is having a great year, and the emergence of Nyk Harbour last week is a good thing for the fightin’ feathers from the midlands. I wanted to do it, I just can’t.

Jacksonville State 10, South Carolina 31

15 Notre Dame @ Clemson

Tyler from Spartanburg fired up Dabo this week. Hoping it fired up the players as well. Clemson CAN win this game IF they play a clean game and complimentary football. We’ve seen both of those things in the same game once this year (vs. FAU). This may be the first time I’ve picked against Clemson in 12 years, and I hate it.

Notre Dame 21, Clemson 17
