With the Tigers having their first home game this past weekend in Death Valley versus Charleston Southern This was the first week of future Tigers, returning to campus to take in some of the action before they arrive on campus next year. Three notable Tigers were in attendance on Saturday from the 2024 recruiting class including 5 Star LB Sammy Brown, 4 Star RB David Ezoimume, and 3 Star LB Drew Woodaz. This was their first chance to see the Tigers in person for the 2023 season and all signs point to them having a great time. Drew Woodaz had the time to answer a few questions about his weekend.
Q. How did it feel to be back in Clemson and spend time with some of the guys in your class?
A. “ It was great to be with them and watch the game and see the fans come out and support and to hang with my guys in the class we get tighter every time.”
Q. How awesome was it to see your brothers pick 6?
A. “It was great to see all his hard work pay off and make a play happen. It was truly electric and exciting to see”
Other Recruiting News
In other recruiting news, Clemson has given out a new offer this week to Georgia athlete Jaedon Harmon. Harmon is a fast-rising prospect out of Rome High School for the class of 2025. Along with Clemson he also added a Michigan offer this week along with other Power Five offers. Clemson is also in a good spot for another top 2025 prospect Anquon Fegans. The 5-star safety from Thompson High School has been high on the Tigers, especially since his recent commitment from USC. Fegans was a teammate of current Clemson, defensive lineman, Peter Woods. There is no doubt Clemson is trying to set up a pipeline from Thompson High School as
they produce immense talent every single year. The Tigers look to add on to their 2024 recruiting class and the immense momentum they gained during the summer recruiting will only pick up as the football season goes on and it will be interesting to see how some of these battles pan out for the Tigers. The Tigers currently sit 15th in the recruiting rankings according to 247 Sports. they also have the second-best class in the ACC behind Florida State. The Tigers are certain to gain some more momentum here in the next few months to finish off with an elite class for Dabo and Co.
