The Clemson softball roster is adding to their already talented roster, All-ACC transfer Alex Brown will be taking on the shortstop position. Brown’s impressive batting average of .399 last season proves she’s an invaluable asset to the team. With her exceptional utility skills and versatility, she is set to make a formidable impact on both offense and defense. Not only is she renowned for her unwavering work ethic, but her natural leadership qualities will foster team cohesion, on and off the field. Get ready to witness greatness in action!

“We are extremely excited to be adding Alex and Lindsey to our team,” said Rittman. “We put together a solid class of competitive and versatile student-athletes with our incoming freshmen, and both Lindsey and Alex amplify our team and will provide experience as we take the next step in our fifth year. Our entire signing class is talented and will improve the quality of our team, and we cannot wait to help these women develop both on and off the field.”

  • Tallied 10 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI contests during her senior season
  • Posted a .280 average with 43 RBIs and 30 runs scored
  • Finished 2023 with 10 home runs, nine doubles, and one triple for a .534 slugging percentage
  • Closed her Auburn career tied for fifth in school history in sacrifice flies and tied for seventh in career triples
  • Appeared in 181 games for the Tigers, making 159 starts
  • Finished her career at Auburn with 120 hits, including 23 doubles, 21 home runs, and five triples

The seasoned duo of Brown and Garcia are teaming up with our fresh talents – Kennedy Ariail, Riley Burton, Olivia Duncan, Kylee Johnson, and Julia Knowler. Together, they’re set to shake up the 2023-24 season.

Clemson Softball staff changes - Jessie Harper has been named assistant coach for the Clemson Softball program.

John Rittman is making some changes and the Clemson Softball Staff is getting a small makeover this offseason. Jessie Harper has been promoted to Assistant Coach and Alyssa Bilodeau has been elevated to Director of Player Development.

Jessie Harper has been promoted to Assistant Coach, bringing her years of experience and knowledge to the field. She is known for her keen eye for detail and her ability to implement effective strategies that help teams excel. Her expertise in hitting will also be valuable to the Tigers as they look to improve offensively.

Alyssa Bilodeau – Director of Player Development

Alyssa Bilodeau has been elevated to Director of Player Development, signaling a commitment to developing and nurturing talent within the team. As a former collegiate softball player, she understands the challenges and pressures that come with competing at a high level and will be an invaluable resource for the players. Her focus on mental and physical preparation will help the Tigers perform at their best on game day.
