Clemson Baseball Gains Valuable Addition with Andrew Ciufo Transfer

Clemson Baseball has recently acquired a shortstop from Georgetown through the transfer portal. Andrew Ciufo, who played for Georgetown during the 2021/2022 season, demonstrated impressive performances in his 78 games played. He started in 77 of those games and appeared in all 78. Ciufo achieved a slash line of .270/.344/.414, indicating a batting average of .270, an on-base percentage of .344, and a slugging percentage of .414.

During his time at Georgetown, Ciufo accumulated 75 hits, scored 50 runs, drove in 50 runs (RBIs), and hit 10 home runs. His contributions to the team were recognized both on and off the field, as he was selected for the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2021 due to his academic achievements.
