Caden Grice and Billy Amick, have been named first-team All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball. This is a significant achievement for both players and for the Clemson baseball program.
Grice, a junior left-handed pitcher, and first baseman, has been one of the most dominant players in college baseball this season. He has a 10-1 record with a 2.21 ERA in 13 starts. He has struck out 111 batters in 76 innings pitched. At the plate, Grice is batting .347 with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs. He was named the MVP of the ACC Tournament after hitting .400 with three home runs and 10 RBIs.
Amick, a sophomore infielder, has also been a key contributor to Clemson’s success this season. He has a .418 batting average with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs, and 36 runs scored. He has a slugging percentage of .778 and an on-base percentage of .464.
The recognition of Grice and Amick as first-team All-Americans is a testament to their exceptional talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport of baseball.
