Hevin Brown-Shuler: Clemson’s Latest Addition to Talented 2024 Class

Clemson Tiger football fans have reason to celebrate as the Tigers added another key piece to their defensive line with the commitment of Hevin Brown-Shuler on Saturday. The 6’4″, 290-pound defensive tackle from Atlanta chose Clemson over other top programs, including USC, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas A&M and Georgia.

Brown-Shuler had previously visited Clemson for three games last season and attended the Tigers’ junior day on January 28th, ultimately making the school his top choice. He was also strongly considered by USC during the recruitment process.

With his commitment, Brown-Shuler joins fellow Georgian Champ Thompson as defensive tackles in Clemson’s 2024 class. He is now the third highest-rated prospect in the class according to 247Sports Composite, and the Tigers’ eighth commitment for the 2024 class.

Clemson has been on a roll lately, having also landed linebacker Drew Woodaz earlier this week. The addition of Brown-Shuler is a huge win for the Tigers and has boosted their national recruiting ranking from 20th to 16th. With four talented players from Georgia in the 2024 class, Clemson’s future is looking bright on the defensive side of the ball.
