2023 Clemson Spring Game Preview

The 2023 spring game is less than 24 hours away from kicking off. This will be the first time for the fans to see QB Cade Klubnik as the true starter, as well as new offensive coordinator Garret Riley in action. This will be what most fans anticipate the most.

This will be a very vanilla look at the new offense for the Tigers, but Cade Klubnik said earlier in spring ball “I love the offense, it’s efficient and productive” “I’m loving it”. Cade will be quarterbacking the White team, some of the notables on his squad will be RB Phil Mafah, WR Antonio Williams, WR Cole Turner, and TE Jake Briningstool.

This will be a big recruiting weekend for the Tigers, and Coach Swinney hopes that there will be plenty of fans in Death Valley to watch the Tigers for the first time in 2023. Once again this will be everyone’s first look at this years team. The big crowd is good for recruits but also good to help break in some of the young guys and midyear enrollees. At the end of the day this is just another practice for the coaches to grade these guys out but the fans and the atmosphere give you something that you can’t get at the indoor facility.

This will be the first time for the young guys playing in the valley in front of fans, running down the hill and getting a small taste of what Saturdays in the fall are like.

Nothing but blue skies and 80 degree temps; So get up early, get the family going and bring everyone out to Death Valley for a 1pm kickoff of the 2023 Clemson Football Spring Game.

The game will be streamed on ACCNX and you can listen to the radio broadcast of the game on 105.5 The ROAR.
