The Clemson Tigers Softball team had a dominant performance against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Sunday, winning 13-0 in just five innings. Maddie Moore, Valerie Cagle, and Aby Vieira led the Tigers’ offense with nine hits in the game. Clemson’s offense was powered by home runs from Cagle, Caroline Jacobsen, and Alia Logoleo, with Logoleo leading the team with three RBIs. The Tigers’ pitching was also impressive, with Cagle starting in the circle and throwing five innings with four strikeouts while only giving up one walk and a hit. This win solidifies the Tigers’ spot as one of the top teams in the ACC, with a record of 32-1 (9-0 ACC). Despite the loss, Georgia Tech put up a good fight, falling to 16-15 (2-7 ACC) after the game. Clemson Softball continues to prove their talent and dedication to the game, and is a team to watch out for.
